Josh Chen is a Taiwanese American graphic designer and photographer from Indiana. He is currently a designer and art director at The Washington Post.
He has a Bachelors in journalism and Asian American studies from Northwestern University.
His personal practice combines photography and design, interrogating themes of belonging, home, identity, race, and queerness. In his images, he is interested in unpacking experiences of being part of a diaspora and examining his own experience growing up queer and Asian in the Midwest.
